Interests

In a world of constant consumption, the content we choose to create and engage with has never been more important. From a young girl making blogs and edits to a woman now pursuing a career in media and marketing, Lily has always believed in the power of thoughtful, nourishing content. Her passion for fashion, beauty, and lifestyle has remained a constant—from childhood lip balm collections and an early obsession with Andie Anderson, to a current magazine archive and an ever-growing wardrobe. She is most interested in current affairs, fashion communication, PR, and Social Media.

"Lily made a great success of her time on the Telegraph’s travel desk. She was presented with various tasks, including research for a forthcoming London parks story (plus writing a panel for the piece), researching pictures for our ‘best pubs’ tool, writing two short features for the hotels desk, updating and fact-checking content, and helping with the publication of our evergreen stories. She showed ingenuity and tenaciousness in everything she was asked to do.

She was prepared to ask questions when any task was not clear and showed a good understanding of the needs and requirements of a newspaper desk. She presented the results of her work clearly and to deadline. Lily also attended our daily and weekly publishing meetings and showed real engagement with the journalistic processes required in a digital-first setting. Throughout I was very impressed with her thoughtful and calm demeanor. It was a pleasure to meet her and I am sure she will go on to great things in the future"
